KAT DELUNA – “Dancing Tonight”

**Artist Spotlight**
Kat Deluna came onto the scene in 2007 with her International hit “Whine Up.” Since then she’s worked with some of the best producers and artists in the game from Red One to Lil Wayne. She has a new single and an upcoming album about to drop. Be sure to check her website at www.katdeluna.com, and my interview with Kat Deluna below.

Q&A w/ Kat Deluna
Riddler: What can we expect on your next album?
Kat Deluna: The songs on my sophomore album are crazier than the first one! With my first album 9Lives in 2007, I came out with a new sound which was a mixture of Euro-pop, electro house with a Latin flavor to it. Now, coming back in 2011 with Viva it will be the same Kat Deluna sound, but better! I flipped it and reversed it! Lol. It’s stronger musically and vocally. Vibe wise, it can be one of the most party hyping and musically different albums of 2011.

Riddler: How do you feel about DJ’s remixing your music?
Kat Deluna: I am most honored and owe it all to DJs around the world for all the support they’ve always given me! They are the ones responsible for any artists success because they play your music and bring it alive on all the dance floors and radios across the world. Now with my new single “Drop it Low” its a blessing that all the DJs are endorsing my new sound and reppin’ hard. I love u DJs!!

Riddler: What’s are some of your favorite reality shows?
Kat Deluna: I love America’s Got Talent,
So You Think You Can Dance and I can’t wait for X Factor.

I miss the days when Hank and Hedi would pack all the orders esmehelvts at 2.13.61 HQ instead of some low wage worker in Virginia. But hey, Hank is creating jobs, so I guess I’ll keep that point of view and check myself from being the jaded ahole I yearn to be.

Guntattoogirl, the Amazon editions have black and white pics and aren’t igensd. As for shipping, I agree, Music Today is horrific. I got tickets to two of Henry’s shows in Canada last round, and they gave me no choice but $15 UPS shipping, and refused to combine the order. It knocked me back $30 just for postage, and I missed the second show because I wasn’t well.I’m all for supporting the indies, but seriously .

  4. I have recently started a site, the info you offer on this site has helped me greatly. Thanks for all of your time & work.
