Kylie filmed an electrifying video for “Timebomb” last month in central London , causing chaos as she strolled through some of the busiest streets, leading to huge speculation about what was being filmed. The video, directed by Christian Larson, includes some of Kylie’s sexiest scenes yet – and lovers of her legendary hot pants will not be disappointed. Kylie will perform the song on the semi-final of “The Voice” on BBC1 in the UK this Sunday.

K25 is a year of celebrations to mark Kylie’s 25th year in the music industry. So far, as part of the celebrations, Kylie has made a surprise video available on Kylie.com on the 25th of every month. She has also performed ‘Anti Tour’ shows in Melbourne , Sydney , Manchester and London – small, stripped down shows in intimate venues which featured rarely performed material including B-Sides and album tracks.

Kylie will be performing at Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace in London on June 4, and will also headline the BBC’s Proms in the Park concert in Hyde Park on September 8 – backed by the BBC Concert Orchestra.

Capitol Records Catalog are releasing ‘The Best of Kylie Minogue’ on CD on June 19th, featuring a collection of the public’s favorite Kylie hits.

As you’ll see from the track-listing, AMERICANA is collection of classic, American folk songs. In their day, some of these may have been referred to as “protest songs,” “murder ballads,” or campfire-type songs passed down with universal, relatable tales for everyman.

Some of these compositions which, like “Tom Dula” and “Oh Susannah,” were written in the 1800s, while others, like “This Land Is Your Land” (utilizing the original, widely misinterpreted “deleted verses”) and “Get A Job,” are mid-20th-century folk classics. It’s also interesting to note that “God Save The Queen,” Britain’s national anthem, also became the de facto national anthem of sorts before the establishment of The Union as we know it until we came to adopt our very own “The Star Spangled Banner,” which has been recognized for use as early as 1889 and made our official national anthem in 1931. Each of these compositions is very much part of the fabric of our American heritage; the roots of what we think of as “Americana” in cultural terms, using songs as a way of passing along information and documenting our past.

What ties these songs together is the fact that while they may represent an America that may no longer exist, the emotions and scenarios behind these songs still resonate with what’s going on in the country today with equal, if not greater impact nearly 200 years later. The lyrics reflect the same concerns and are still remarkably meaningful to a society going through economic and cultural upheaval, especially during an election year. They are just as poignant and powerful today as the day they were written.

“We are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity and staff to continue our progression,” says Hildebrand. “Along with our architects and builders, we have developed an amazing team of both back- and front-of-the-house at Triniti, allowing us to grow from within with this new concept.”

According to Hildebrand, Brande will be decidedly different than Triniti, taking on an identity of its own in both its rustic American cuisine and its more masculine feel, with richer, darker woods in a more casual setting. “Like Triniti, it will be grounded in the restaurant culture we are building and the standards we are implementing,” he says. The restaurant will feature unique interior landscape techniques, while the exterior landscape will add to the neighborhood ambience of lower Westheimer.

Dax McAnear will serve as Brande’s Chef de Cuisine. McAnear most recently served as Chef de Cuisine at San Francisco ‘s Hog and Rocks. Prior to that, he worked as Chef de Cuisine at Houston’s Textile, Chef and General Manager at Beaver’s, and Sous Chef at Benjy’s and *17 at Alden Hotel. The bakery program, which will be designed and supervised by Chef Jose Hernandez, will supply both Brande and Triniti with bread and pastries.

The partners behind Brande are donating the entire building to Houston Habitat for Humanity. All salvaged building materials sold will benefit the non-profit’s mission of eliminating substandard housing in Houston .

Brande will open daily, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, along with brunch and dinner on weekends.

RICHIE HAWTIN has also just announced he will introduce his visionary ENTER. concept as his first solo residency in Ibiza. He will take over Thursday nights at the award-winning club Space in Playa d’en Bossa for 12 weeks, starting July 5 through September 20, curating four rooms built on the principles of music, sake, technology and experience. HAWTIN, himself a trained sake sommelier and a huge fan of Japanese culture, is personally importing sake from overseas, recruiting the staff and working with renowned mixologists on a custom sake and shochu based cocktail menu.

RICHIE HAWTIN’s accomplishments range from having been named the “World’s Best DJ” in the most credible electronic music polls to being invited to compose music for the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics to exhibiting a sound installation for the French Ministry of Culture’s Millennium Exhibition in Avignon, France. He has also invested in, endorsed and helped develop some of the most forward-thinking products in the electronic music space including Native Instrument’s pioneering Traktor Scratch software, number one dance music digital retailer Beatport, the Tonium Pacemaker portable DJ system and Allen & Heath’s limited edition custom CTRL:92 DJ mixers—the first ever to be fully Midi-enabled, which both he and his father helped to conceptualize and design. In 2012, RICHIE HAWTIN relaunched his alter-ego Plastikman and launched the PLASTIKMAN LIVE world tour. The show was voted the best live act of 2010 by Resident Advisor readers and also was included in U.K. tastemaker magazine MixMag’s best live dance act shortlist. In conjunction, he released Arkives, a major Plastikman retrospective in multiple formats.
